James Suckling:91/100 Vinous:91/100 Jancis Robinson: "Extremely flattering nose almost Pomerolian" and then fleshy on the palate. This has rounded out nicely and provides lots of Castillon value. But, being so sweet and fleshy, it's an early developer. *Good Value*"
Aromatics: Fresh black truffle, blackberries, black plums, mocha and earthiness. Palate: Tonic red wine, filled with energy, black fruits and a delicious rich texture. Never exuberant yet charming and elegant. The tannins are fine and chalky with a salty mineral finish.
