  • WHO MADE IT?
  • Each Dal Zotto wine is the blend of three elements - family, tradition and innovation - with one overarching philosophy - your origins are just as important as your future. The Dal Zotto philosophy begins with what is closest to our hearts - family. From rural life in Italy, to settling in the King Valley, to pioneering Italian grape varieties, the journey has been a shared one. Along the way, from the good times at the table to our appetite for discovery in the vineyard and winery, it is "La Famiglia" that has brought it all together. We invite you to join us on this journey, pull up a chair at the family table, savour both the tradition and innovation in our wines and share our stories.

MIKE BENNIE - THE WINE FRONT

Nebbiolo-lite here, but has quite a lot of interest and good drinking is inherent. Rose petal earth, leather, juiciness and gentle sweetness, finishes with really firm, new leather tannins. It’s got lots going on, really like this wine, plenty for the nebbiolo fancier.

HUON HOOKE - THE REAL REVIEW

Medium to light depth of tawny/brick-red colour, very forward for its three years of age. The aroma is dominated by peppermint - almost menthol - and is simple and non-varietal. The palate is drying and astringent, thin, hollow and unbalanced, lacking fruit and charm. The peppermint dominates any other nuances.

    WALTER SPELLER - JANCISROBINSON.COM

Three weeks on the skins including the fermentation in stainless steel, and aged in puncheons for a year.Mid ruby with the beginning of an orange tinge. Youthful, lifted cherry with a peppery hint. Firm, yet crunchy bitter-sweet tannins and hints of dried fruit on the finish. Very youthful and a tiny bit drying on the finish, but needs time. Lots of promise. Score: 17+/20
