This has melon and pear with white flowers and some saline notes. Textured and more exuberant than the other bottlings, this is one of Jolivets finest in 2014. Very harmonious with a clean finish reminiscent of dried peaches. Better in one or two years.
STEPHEN REINHARDT - WINE ADVOCATE
The 2014 Pouilly-Fumé Indigène is an extraordinary aromatic Pouilly with clear mineral, floral and fruity flavors in the nose. The old vines selections from silex parcels in Tracy sur Loire has been fermented and aged in stainless steel for 12 months. Full-bodied, fresh and elegant on the palate, this tightly woven and mineral wine is very compact and complex, whereas the finish is fresh, transparent, pure and grippy. The persistent aftertaste is full of tension and flavors of crushed stones with lemon oil and white fruits. An exciting Pouilly-Fumé!
