'A medium-bodied shiraz that holds interest from the first sip to the finish and aftertaste of the last sip'
96 points, James Halliday
A medium to full bodied wine showing intense ripe dark berry fruit aromas. A touch of fruitcake and some cinnamon spice.
The palate is dense with blackberry preserve and smoky oak flavours and lovely lingering fruit sweetness.
Vineyard - Esate Vineyard and Specialist Growers. Langhorne Creek, South Australia.
Winemaking - De-stemmed to open fermenters, pumped over up to 4 times daily during peak fermentation. Drained & pressed after 9 to 15 days on skins, settled for 24 hours before racking to oak.
'Destemmed, 15% whole berry, open-fermented, 12 days on skins, matured in French oak (15% new) for 12 months. Gold medals Melbourne and National Wine Shows '16. Bright crimson-purple; a masterful play between luscious Langhorne Creek fruit and a spicy, savoury finish. The result is a medium-bodied shiraz that holds interest from the first sip to the finish and aftertaste of the last sip. It's a needle stuck in the groove to comment on the dizzying value for money.'

'Bremerview goes all right, as a general rule. Yes. This is a goer. The oak feels a bit cedary and sawdusty but in effect it just adds a bit of sex appeal. It’s plummy and blackberried with mint and iodine highlights. It’s a solid red with a bit extra. In the zone.'
