  • THE FINER DETAILS
  • Cold soaked for 36 hours before being fermented with neutral yeast in open top fermenters. Plunged 4 times a day in the height of ferment to extract delicate fruit tannins and enhance the vibrant colour.

    WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT?

Plum and blackberries with a hint of black pepper. Mulberry, blackberry and plum flavours with earthy complexities and hints of liquorice. Supported by fine velvety tannins, with a long satisfying finish.

TONI PATERSON MW - THE REAL REVIEW

There is a gorgeous mouth-watering quality to the palate of this wine. Satsuma plum and red cherry flavours. The palate has a harmony from beginning to end. Lovely composure, gentle intensity and bright acidity. Fragrant and engaging. It is delicious now though will also benefit from cellaring

MIKE BENNIE - THE WINE FRONT

Ripe-ish aromas of red and black berries, choc-liquorice, anise, sweet earth. The palate is juicy, bright, lightly sweet, shaped with a sheath of feathery yet firm tannins, finishes long and frisky. It’s a little diffuse in its flavours but drinkability is really high, general pleasure implicit. Nice version of Hunter shiraz here.
