Natural yeast fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks, for 12-15 days with regular pump-over.
Maturation for 20 months in large format Slavonian oak, then a further 6 months in bottle before release.
The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild red berries, wild strawberry and small notes of rose associated with fine touches of spices as well as a discreet hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, freshness, roundness, a good definition, a fine mineral frame as well as a good definition, a fine mineral frame as well as a good dimension. On the palate this wine expresses note of crunchy cherry, wild red berries and small notes of flowers (rose, violet) associated with a touch of plum as well as fine hints of zan and copse.
Shows a fine interplay of dried roses, blueberries, leather, tobacco and cedar. Medium body, tight tannins, impressive acid drive and an elegant finish.
