Double Gold Medal - New York International Rose Competition
Chateau Saint Martin is a 15th Century, family owned estate in Provence. The vineyard holds a mythical status, and produces some of the greatest Rose's from the region. It is classified as Cru Classe, the highest possible ranking for Provence Rose.
Skin contact for 6 hours then pressing. Fermentation between 15 and 17 degrees. Ageing in the underground cellar hollowed out of the rock.
Made from Grenache, Tibouren, Cinsault, Carignan & Syrah
The colour is bright peach.
Lovely perfumed nose, intense, complex, with some notes of peony, white flowers and shades of red fruits as strawberry and rasberry.
On the palate - there is fruits and spices, as pink berries. A lot of fragrances, which shows all the potential of a wine that surely will be more balance and more complex with time.
