DESCRIPTION
  • How could you not love a wine that owes all its flavour to an ancient seabed of crushed oysters!

Chablis, one of the oldest wine growing regions in Northern France, produce wines of such finesse and purity that they rarely ever require the use of oak artefact to add to the wines character. In the Alain Geoffroy Chablis, we have imported one of the most favoured brands of Chablis from all around the world, and it is the perfect example to show-off why this region is so popular among the cork-dork set.

This wine is famous for having the most dedicated followers around, as it has always been a more generous, rich and mouthfilling style of Chablis. Talk to anyone in the United States or UK abuot what Chablis they love to drink, and chances are, it will be the Alain Geoffroy wine.

Not seen in Australia for a few years now, we decided to resurrect the brand and import it ourselves. Chablis at this price is rarely seen, so get in on the act now as we don't think this will last long (at all).

    TASTING NOTES

Pale gold with greenish glints. Bright, luminous and limpid. On the nose, it is rich and ripe, firstly full of flowers then going on to reveal its fruity aromas with sweet, suave notes. The taste is very powerful, wtih a pronounced minerally character that enhances the fruit and fine vegetal flavours. Its mellowness harmonizes perfectly with its vivacity on a solid structure that illustrates perfectly the special nature of the wine.
