A Pinot Gris that aims to swim against the tide of commercialism. The nose opens with ripe golden fruit (toffee pears, and Meyer lemons) before intriguing savoury notes come to the fore in the form of bake's yeast, cashews and dried fennel spice. A mineral flintiness offers focus and well integrated oak contributes to the depth of the wine. The palate shows good weight and texture with cleansing acidity.
Certified Organic; hand-picked; fermented and aged in a combination of 228L French barrels, 600L French barrels and small horizontal stainless steel tanks.

'Attractively aromatic pinot gris with quite a floral lift plus ripe tree fruit, pear and white peach flavours. The wine has an appealingly ethereal texture, with a lengthy and bone-dry finish. Very stylish and highly drinkable.'
