A perfect spicy companion, expressing the subtlety of shiraz in a region defined by cool climate and outstanding soil.
A good even budburst was followed by a very warm dry spring, earlier than normal flowering and very even berry set. Warm days and cool nights throughout Autumn, combined with light crops and small berries provided great conditions for concentrated, aromatic wines.
An alluring nose filled with enticing spiced plum, mulberries, delicate herbs and five spice. A wonderfully balanced palate dominated by blueberries and white pepper follows, with lovely textured tannins and a silky finish.
