Sourced from premium Barossa Valley fruit and matured in young and old small oak barrels.
Bright deep ruby, this classic Barossa Shiraz has powerful fruitcake, plum, dark cherry aromas. The palate is generous and round without being overbearing with baked earth fruits on the finish that with plush tannins makes for an exceptional Barossa red.
Lawley Farm is a label produced by the Burge family, in the Barossa. With a focus on rich flavours, and wonderfully balanced acidity, these are food friendly wines produced by one of Barossa's brightest stars.
SAM KIM - WINE ORBIT
Offering sweet fruit notes of Black Doris plum and mulberry as well as nuances of cake spice, almond and floral, the wine shows lovely mid-palate weight and fruit intensity backed by supple texture and silky tannins. It’s succulent, flavoursome and lingering with plenty of tasty flavours. At its best: now to 2025. AU$26.00.
While many people won’t be familiar with the Lawley Farm label, it has a bit of pedigree as it houses the wines from Trent Burge, son of Barossa legend Grant Burge. And the wine has the Burge stamp all over it – ripe, generous and plush fruits, and made for drinking pleasure. This is a modern Barossa Style – there is fleshy cocoa and blackberry fruits – with a touch of tar and baked earth. The palate is then dry, full-bodied, rich and bold yet with supple tannins. It’s admirable concentration and length finish off what is a delicious package.
