  • Mirabeau is still owned by its founders and is based in the beautiful Provençal village of Cotignac, east of Aix-en-Provence. They currently have 200 hectares of vines, in some of the highest altitude vineyards in the Cotes-de-Provence appellation. Their vineyards are managed sustainably, using a method called Lutte Raisonée, with as little intervention as possible.

Made from grapes grown in some of the highest vineyards in the Côtes de Provence. Grenache is blended with the punchier Syrah with its ripe cherry and raspberry flavours; a smattering of Vermentino provides delicacy and a hint of white pepper. Provençal, herbaceous ‘garrigue’ flavours combine well with hints of grapefruit, cherry and orange blossom on a palate that finishes on a refreshing minerally note.

Grenache (60%), Syrah (40%). Vin de pressurage, short maceration, chilled settling and temperature controlled fermentation.

An ethereal pale-pink colour with silver reflections, this wine honours its name with beautiful clarity and a beguiling nose of citrus, grapefruit and a hint of lychee. Mirabeau Pure’s hallmark is a pronounced mineral structure enveloped by elegant wild strawberry and citrus flavours, with a refreshing and refined character. A lingering, beautiful finish will leave you wanting a second glass of this perfect example of good winemaking from Provence.

'Vivid and clear aromas of strawberries and flour. Some hot stones, too. Full body, tight and focused fruit and a fresh and clean finish. Tangy and crisp. '

'Beautifully packaged this has a slight smoky, spicy framing to it that’s really attractive. Delicate, nicely focused and seamless, with tangerine, fine herbs, a twist of black plum and some cranberry brightness on the finish. Lovely wine.'
