A bright, fresh and elegant cool climate classic. This fruit driven Pinot Noir has a medium weight and plush tannin structure paired with a backbone of very fine tannins and acidity. A flavoursome delight which pairs seamlessly with a variety of foods.
Made by highly acclaimed Frogmore Creek, 42°S is the central latitude of Tasmania and reflects the cool climate position for which the grapes are grown. The finished wine is driven by the quality of the fruit with minimal intervention from the winemaking team who choose to let the fruit do the work. HUON HOOKE - THE REAL REVIEW
Deep red/purple colour with a big, bold, dark cherry and faintly bunchy aroma. The palate is firm and tannic and rather chunky. It has potential to improve with a little age, too.
