  • THE BRIEF
  • In 1890, Amos William Howard discovered subterranean clover thriving naturally in a picturesque valley in the Adelaide Hills.

Today, Howard Vineyard's stone barn cellar door and premium red vineyard are located in Nairne, on the site of this original farm. Subterranean clover continues to grow at this site, restoring Nitrogen and ensuring the health and quality of the soil in this spectacular vineyard. 30km away, their high altitude (470m), cool climate white vineyard at Schoenthal ("Beautiful Valley" in German) is one of the Adelaide Hill's finest sites for growing fresh, crisp sparkling and white wines renowned for their delicate notes and distinctive fruit purity.

Aromas of cherry, strawberry and musk. Red fruit with lovely undertones of savoury spice and ends with a crisp and crunchy finish. A great aperitif style wine.

  • THE FINER DETAILS

    SAM KIM - WINE ORBIT

Charming and bright, this attractively expressed rosé shows elegantly lifted aromas of raspberry, stone fruit, grapefruit and floral on the nose, leading to a finely textured palate that is juicy and silky. It is beautifully framed by crisp acidity, finishing long and lively. At its best: now to 2020.
