JAMES HALLIDAY - HALLIDAY'S WINE COMPANION
Deep crimson-purple, it is full of rich fruit, yet not extractive or alcoholic, simply full-bodied, with a perfect marriage of fruit, oak and tannins. Bowen has had its ups and downs - this is definitely up.
NICK BUTLER - THE REAL REVIEW
Deeply-hued colour of purple with bright crimson edges. A classic nose of blackcurrants and cedar, tobacco and dried herbs. Elegant and structured, black and blue berries unfurl from a sinewed spine of tannins and acidity. It's just delicious.
