This cuvée is sourced from vineyards in Chavanay that sit on granite-infused soil. The fermentations (alcoholic and malolactic) take place in stainless steel; then, the wines is racked into a mix of stainless steel and small barrel for six months before bottling.
JOSH RAYNOLDS - VINOUS
(25% new oak) Light brilliant yellow. Meyer lemon, pear nectar, pungent flowers and a vanilla nuance on the perfumed, mineral-accented nose. Sappy orchard and pit fruit, candied ginger and honeysuckle flavors show impressive depth as well as energy and delineation. Becomes livelier and spicier with air and finishes broad and long, featuring building spiciness and a touch of smokiness. Drink: 2021-2027 (May18)
