The fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from Binder Estate vineyards in the sub regions of Marananga, Vine Vale and Eden Valley, showcasing the diversity of the Barossa terroir.
Aromas of black currants with hints of capsicum and the hallmark varietal herbaceous notes. The wine is juicy and rich on the palate with full, ripe flavours of blackberry, cassis, cedar and integrated noak. This is a well structured Cabernet Sauvignon that can be enjoyed while young or in future years with cellaring.
Second generation Barossa winemaker Rolf Binder, who is famous for crafting seriously luscious red, classic Barossan red wines. It seems Rolf's popularity is widespread with his fans including none other than Robert Parker, who describes Rolf's wines as 'never excessively oaked (and) possess(ing) extraordinary ripe, concentrated fruit'.
