The luminous pale yellow Chardonnay with its resplendent green reflexes offers a pleasant aroma of meadow flowers, typical for the variety, reminiscent of exotic fruits. It is slightly tangy, well structured, full in the mouth and lasting in the finish.
Considered to be a benchmark producer in the region, Tiefenbrunner was founded in 1848 and their range of wines including Chardonnay, Maller Thurgau, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc continue to delight wine-lovers throughout the world. Their vineyards lie on the steep slopes of the region, one in particular, the Feldmarschell von Fenner Maller Thurgau is at 1000 metres above sea-level, and is trellised with the local pergola and wine frame methods. The winery is located in Entiklar, a hamlet of Kurtatsch and the estate consistently wins many awards in Italy's most famous wine guide, the Gambero Rosso.
