Ruby red with hints of purple & brilliant clarity. Merlot 59%, Shiraz 41%
Fragrant and inviting fruit characters of blackcurrant, violets and plums with leafy notes and hints of ground cinnamon. A luscious, mouth filling palate of rich juicy fruit compote. A touch of natural fruit sweetness was preserved to support the soft and silky tannins, leading to a easy finish. Amélie is a wine to enjoy in its youth when the natural berry characters of the Merlot and Shiraz grape are at their most vibrant. Best served chilled, Amelie is a versatile food wine and the perfect partner to wood-fired pizza or spicy Indian fare.
