DESCRIPTION
  • Douglas Laing is an independent, family-owned whisky company, who select and bottle individual cask single malts. They also craft a range of blended whiskies from some of these casks. The 'Old Particular' range is designed to showcase the wide variety of whiskies found throughout Scotland, all bottled as the maker intended - at cask strength and without colour additives or chill-filtration. All of the whiskies in this range proudly display the distillery from which they were sourced, along with the relevant age statement.

The Tamdhu 18YO is a Speyside single malt, distilled in 1999, and bottled at cask strength of 48.4% ABV, in 2017.

  • WINEMAKER'S NOTES

    TASTING NOTES
Lifted notes of citrus and spice, with honey-glazed apples and characteristic pepper hints. The palate brings more honey tones, with clove and cinnamon and a lick of peppermint behind. The finish is gently warming with vanilla pod and spiced honey sweetness.
