DESCRIPTION
  • Michel Couvreur is a bit of chameleon in the whisky world. A native Belgian, making Scotch whisky in the heart of Burgundy, France. Got it?

Michel imports a high proof distillate from Scotland to his bonded cellar in Bouze-les-Beaune, Burgundy. It's here that he ages the whisky in a variety of predominantly ex-sherry casks. The Intravagan'za is aged for 3 years in a combination of Moscatel and Oloroso casks, creating an elegant and complex whisky with rich caramel and toffee notes.

  • WINEMAKER'S NOTES

    TASTING NOTES

Gold amber tint. Aromas typical of young malts with almonds and frangipane fragrance, nice grassy freshness with a slight touch of honey and wood. Lively and sharp in the mouth, despite its young age, is revealing some silky elegance. Unctuous tastes, with subtle notes of pear, with the finish becoming finer and very floral, enhanced by a note of smoke.
