DESCRIPTION
  • Ocho Tequila is the product of a partnership between Tomas Estes and Carlos Camarena. The Camarena Family have been making Tequila since 1937, with Carlos being the third generation of Tequilero.

Ocho Tequila is produced exclusively from Agave from Carlos and Tomas' own fields, and crafted in small-batches to ensure quality and consistency across each distillation.

The Plata, or Blanco Tequila, is the unaged expression of Ocho. Highlighting the purity of the agave, with no barrel influence, the Blanco is a bright and vibrant Tequila, with classic earthy and herbaceous notes from the agave. Ideal for sipping over ice, or for use in cocktails.

  • WINEMAKER'S NOTES

Las Presas, “The Dams”, is a ranch located in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, that belonged to Carlos Camarena’s great-grandfather. The field sits at 2,170 meters altitude, is slightly inclined east-west, therefore the agave rows are oriented north-south to receive most of the sunlight without shadowing each other.

The agaves harvested were 6.5 years old with an average weight of 26 kgs and a sugar content of 28.6%.
