2018 Rieslingfreak No. 5 Clare Valley Off Dry Riesling - Previous Vintage 95 Points Mike Bennie
2017 Forest Hill Estate Riesling - 96 Points, James Halliday
2018 Woods Crampton Eden Valley Riesling - 90 Points, Gary Walsh
2017 Castelli Great Southern Riesling - 97 Points, James Halliday

2017 KT Churinga Clare Valley Riesling

'Arguably the most detailed Churinga to date reaching lofty heights with its clarity and whorl of citrus from mandarin blossom, lemon juice and pith with flavours building along the palate. Its frame is linear and elegant, and the acidity has laser precision right through to the long finish.'

97 Points - Jane Faulkner, Wine Companion

    2018 Gibson Eden Valley Riesling

'The aroma is fresh, youthful and reserved, but also clean and bright, with lemon pith and fresh herb touches. A hint of lavender. It's very tight, reserved and refined in the mouth, with crisp dryness and restraint, but the flavour is there, and it’s tightly wound and long, promising much in the coming years. A refined, delicate, subtle but intense style of riesling that seems built to age.'
    95 Points - Huon Hooke

2018 Rieslingfreak No. 5 Clare Valley Off-Dry Riesling

    Previous Vintage Review

Winemaker John Hughes has dedicated himself to the art of fine riesling, and, particularly, the balance between sugar, fruit and acidity that allows him to play with varying residual sugar levels. Here he makes a pitch perfect off dry style. Breakfast wine of highest order, but take it way more seriously.

Complex bouquet with honeysuckle, candlewax, fresh citrus, kaffir lime leaf, raw ginger. Palate has good lick of sweetness but incredible acid backbone. Superb balance, lightning bolt of acidity through the wine. It races along with crystalline feel, precise and thrilling with its delicious, moreish, fresh nature. Brilliant.'
95 Points - Mike Bennie, The Wine Front

2018 Woods Crampton White Label Eden Valley Riesling

'Carries some colour and it’s on the fuller side of Eden Riesling, moving into apple, lavender, and gin and tonic sorbet, texture is powdery and the acidity has enough crunch to keep it keen, there’s a bit of spice in the mix, and again that sorbet-like flavour on a decent finish, lemon rind in the aftertaste. Texture and flavour, though a bit chunky, is what I’d call it. It’s a nice drink anyway.'
90 Points - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

    2017 Forest Hill Estate Riesling

'Primarily sourced from the 42yo estate Block 2, the remainder ex 15yo vines. The wine doesn't blush when it locks onto the mouth with lime and lemon zest fruit running on rails of grippy acidity through to the finish. This is old school severity of the highest calibre, good for 25 years.'
    96 Points - James Halliday

    2017 Castelli Great Southern Riesling

''A quite beautiful example of Great Southern riesling, radiating purity and harmony between its fruit and acidity, both running long and clear. It will live for decades.'
    97 Points - James Halliday
