Ripe red fruit, aniseed, a rosy perfume, some spiced biscuit oak and earthy things. Medium-bodied, plum and raspberry, fine-grained tannin, a quiet succulence and classic Hunter Shiraz character. It’s juicy and flavoursome, cool clean acidity to balance, and offers a pretty long finish with plenty of sweet raspberry flavour and discreet perfume. Really good.
