Father and son duo, Nick and Alex George focus on making rich and character-filled wines from the premium wine region that is the Clare Valley.
From vineyards in the heart of the valley that look like a patchwork quilt, the Georges The Tiller Shiraz comes specifically from Armagh Vineyard (previously known as Springwood) with low-yielding dry-grown Shiraz coming from clay over limestone soil profile.
The character of this vineyard can be tasted with rich plum and dark berry notes with balanced spice and savouriness and a peppery tannin profile. Made more in the medium-bodied style, there is a complexity that makes this Shiraz very moreish.
Cellaring potential up to 10 years taking advantage of the tannin's sophisticated line and length. Cork closure.

Soft, plush red with blackberry. Mulberry and espresso coffee-like characters in perfume and palate. A bigger than medium weight wine but not a blockbuster. Instead, somewhere in between and wonderfully balanced. Generous, classic kind of feel, and ticking many boxes for generous, well realised red wine.

Very Fresh, Blackberries, gum drying tannins, the wine is full with purple flowers, anise, menthol and long finish.

Lip-smacking structure and impressive length make this a very special shiraz crafted to drink now and for cellaring over many years.
