2021 Goundrey Homestead Cabernet Merlot

Brilliant crimson with a slight purple hue, the wine exhibits aromas of bright and lifted currants, with hints of milk chocolate and bay leaf. The palate is juicy and dense with vibrant flavours crème cassis and ripe red berries, with mocha and earthy tones. An elegant, yet structurally defined palate with fine, savoury tannins that is further enhanced by careful use of quality French oak.

The Goundrey vineyards are located within the vast plains of the south west corner of Western Australia. Here the vines produce a range of different stylesincluding red wines with rich deep flavours and white vibrant wines with a crisp racy edge. Homestead wines are crafted to be full-flavoured, mouth-filling wines with good length and drinkability.
