2022 Amberley Chardonnay

Brilliant, pale straw in colour, this wine shows intense, fresh fruit characters of white peach and citrus combined with hints of roasted almonds and creamy brioche. Subtle toasted oak and vanilla spice provided lift and interest to the aroma. Fresh and full of flavour, the Amberley Chardonnay displays stone fruit and citrus characters. The palate is long and lightly textured with hints of hazelnut and vanillin derived from a period of yeast contact and oak maturation. Best enjoyed chilled served with fresh seafood, grilled chicken or creamy pasta dishes.

Grown under the warm Western Australian sun and cooled by local sea breezes, the Amberley vineyards produce fruit with vibrant, attractive fruit flavours expressed through our wines. Machine harvesting at night ensures the fruit is picked in optimal conditions to retain freshness and flavour. Gentle processing of fruit preceded cold settling and cool fermentation to ensure vibrancy and freshness is retained. The wine was matured for six months on lees to build texture and complexity before final blending prior to packaging.
