If you have recently discovered Cabernet then this is the pack for you. It’s a three-pack showing the diversity of Coonawarra, the Barossa and the Pyrenees in Victoria. Deliciously structured and showing regional differences, it's yours for $60, down from $90.
This is a classic cabernet: cassis, blackberry, elegant and silky. I also got a little thyme on the mid-palate and dusty tannins. I found it had a good use of oak, which for me, made it taste a little more mature than its vintage. I think this is a great wine for classic cabernet drinkers who enjoy Coonawarra/Margaret River. I would suggest it for those who have enjoyed Evans and Tate, Kirrihill Regional Selection, Xanadu Exmoor Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 and even some Crianza Tempranillo drinkers.
